  • ​Move patio pots to sheltered sites during cold periods

  • Improve the soil the soil by spreading compost or manure over beds and forking in

  • Move plants growing in the wrong place

  • Dig deep areas where you'll be planting new roses, shrubs or perennials

  • Clean algae and moss from paths and steps

  • Plant new fruit bushes and trees

  • Spread a mulch of compost over borders and around trees, shrubs and roses

  • Sprinkle a top dressing of gritty compost over lawns

  • Dig over veg plots, mixing compost into the soil as you go

  • Cover rhubarb with forcing jars for an early harvest

  • Use cloches to warm the soil for early sowings

  • Dig up congested clumps of winter aconites and transplant to new sites

  • Buy shallots, onion sets and seed potatoes

  • Order bulbs, corms and tubers for summer flowers​​​​

“Hi, my name is Tegan Aplin, and in the summer [2019] I went to South India with World Challenge for 16 days. To go on this trip I had to raise £3,100, which I did through generous donations from local businesses and by doing backyard sales, car boot sales, babysitting, and car washes. We went trekking for 5 days through the Western Ghats, which had such amazing views. We then helped in a local primary school tiling the school floors and teaching the children English and Maths. Helping at the school was very heartwarming. I loved every minute in India, doing things I would never normally do, thanks to this amazing company and World Challenge.”

We have set out clear and practical requirements that our employees are to take to ensure we carry out our work as safely as possible. 

 

If you have a meeting with a member of Fullers Landscaping, please let us know whether you would like us to wear a face covering. When we build your dream garden, our landscaping team will have handwashing facilities, hand sanitiser, disinfectant and face coverings available to them. We will also ensure that a portable toilet is on-site so they do not need to enter your property. 

 

We constantly check government advice to ensure we work within good practice guidelines.
